Mark your calendar for our Spring Lodge Fundraiser. It will be a Bar-B-Q and will be on 13^th March from 4-7 PM. Our own Sr. Deacon Don Cowart will be heading it up. We will have Ribs, Chicken, Pork Butt, and Smoked Sausage with all the fixing’s.

Brothers, it will be a very busy month for Degrees. Our Degree team needs some new faces. Brothers, now is no better time than to come on out and lend a hand or just show your support. Have a cup of coffee or soda, and enjoy the fellowship and camaraderie. Also in March will be the second visit by our District Deputy Grand Master Robert “Boog Powell”. The second visit will be different in that the Lodge will be open to all family and friends so that the DDGM and his Committeemen can let everyone know what is going on in Masonry in Florida and in the 23^rd Masonic district.

My Brothers, I am open to the suggestion of having what is called a “Rusty Nail” Degree. A Rusty Nail Degree is intended to be a refresher course for those who have not been to Lodge in a long time. It gives the Brothers a chance to refresh our Craft of Masonry. If any Brother is interested in putting this on, please contact one of my Officers or myself. We would then need to have our transportation committee setup transportation of Brothers needing a ride to and from Lodge that day. We could even think about holding it on the third Saturday morning of the month when the Eastern Star cooks breakfast. That would allow Brothers not having to worry about getting home late in the evening. Just something I would like to throw out to the Craft.
